Novaia Home is a connected platform for care homes: a mobile app, a web app with a dashboard, and sensor integrations, working together as one system.
The starting point
Connecting the sensors in a care home to an app the staff can rely on is not a simple brief. Novaia Home came to us to build the platform that does it, and to explain every step along the way.
What we built
Three parts that work as one: a mobile app, a web app with its dashboard, and the sensor integrations with the data flows that support them. We also wrote the custom algorithms the platform relies on, and a design system that keeps every screen consistent.
How we worked
We scoped the three parts together before building any of them, because each depends on the others. The sensor integrations and their data flows came first, then the mobile app and the web app, then the work of making all three behave as one platform.
Where it is now
The platform is in use in Novaia Home's care homes. In the client's words, their teams trust what it tells them.
